Site Information is a portal for CTI's medical education modules.
In the About Us section, there is a brief overview of CTI, as well as a link to our corporate site.
Clinical Tools will not share your personal information with any third parties. However, if taking one of our modules is part of your required coursework, your measurement data (e.g.pre/post tests) will be reported to your professor upon their request.

Site Content

The forums are an area of the website where participants can participate in discussions on various medical topics, as well as get to know the fellow users on the site.
The Resources Tab gives you the ability to navigate tagged resources relevant to the topics covered on the site.

The RSS link links you to RSS feeds from sources such as Google, Pub Med, Join Together, Med Worm, and Genetics magazine.

Getting Credit

You must request credit (AMA PRA Category 1 Credit (TM), CEUs, etc) at most 30 days after completion of all other parts of the activity (such as any/all pre/post surveys, assessments, the training modules, simulation or interactive chat experience). ALSO: Note that if the credit for the activity has an "end date" you MAY NOT REQUEST CREDIT after the end date.  Letters of completion /participation will continue to be available.
Credit types are assigned to each activity. You can see the list of available credits on the activity homepages.

Using the Site

Find the group/activity that you want to join and click on the link. You will be taken to the activity, where you can see the module list for each activity.

Please be sure to always access the activity through the activity homepage, to ensure being able to progress through the modules correctly (Please do not "bookmark" pages directly). Once you enter through the activity homepage, you should get normal navigation.

To access your individual module certificates, access the associated training program.

Anyone (medical students, residents, health professionals) can take our modules. The associated credit can be chosen to fit your individual needs.

Registration on our site is free. A fee is required to take our modules and request credit. If you are a faculty member from a health professional school, or you have a large group interested in our activities, please contact us to discuss further details.
Clinical Tools includes multiple measures in our modules to assess changes in knowledge, attitudes, self-efficacy, and intended behavior. We track this data for all users to assess the impact of our online curriculum.
