Great American Smokeout (GASO) 2011

GASO, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, is an annual event that takes place on the third Thursday of November and encourages smokers to quit for at least 1 day, in the hope that this might challenge them to stop permanently. GASO encourages smokers to use the date of the observance to make their plan to quit smoking for good or to plan in advance and quit smoking that day.
